We often receive questions about missing virtual gifts. Each time we check this we notice that visitors types text (without value), faking he sends you a gift.
To avoid confusion we explain here how you can see the difference between normal chat text without value, and a real virtual gift send by a client:
- If a visitor types text in chat (possibly faking he sends a gift), you only see his nickname in bold, and no time stamp. There is also no border around the text and no emoji shown.
- If you receive a real virtual gift, we show the time stamp, 2 emoiji after the text with a border around it. Also the gift counter goes + 1 and a sound alert is played
In this screenshot you can see first a real virtual gift being send, and next a visitor typing text, faking he sends you a gift:
On top of the webcam application you can also see the amount of virtual gifts and their credit value you received in the ongoing session.
