All accounts on Xcams-Models are considered independent suppliers of the platform. You can operate as an individual (freelancer) or through your own company — the best option depends on your personal situation and how much you expect to earn per year.
Recommendation: consult a local accountant before deciding. They know the tax rules for your country.
Where to enter your data
Enter your details on the “Invoice Data” page of your account. This is the information we use to generate your invoices.
VAT rules — which one applies to you?
1. You live in Luxembourg VAT is added to your invoice. You are responsible for declaring and paying it to the tax authorities.
2. You live in another EU member country Provide your VAT number to avoid this charge: we apply the “reverse charge” model (self-assessment), and you don’t pay this tax.
⚠️ Important: many countries exempt freelancers from having a VAT number — but since this involves billing between two EU countries, a VAT number is mandatory in this specific case.
3. You live outside the EU You don’t need a VAT number. We ask for your local tax number, to remove any doubt about who receives the income, in case of an audit.
